The Chipping Cleghorn Gazette has a peculiar ad posted in the personal section stating, “A murder is announced and will take place on Friday, October the thirteenth, at Little Paddocks - at six-thirty p.m.” Everyone living at Little Paddocks is skeptical if this is hoax… or if there is truth to the column. When a mystery man arrives at the aforementioned time attempting to kill Miss Blacklock, a murder does indeed take place, but it is the killer who is found dead. In true Agatha Christie style, this classic whodunit has many suspects, each with their own motives.
